When baby is newborn use the mattress base on the higher setting to make placing and picking up your newborn easier. Once your baby shows signs of being able to sit up or can pull themselves up, move the base down a level so your baby can’t get out of the cot. Use the third mode when your little one is a toddler, and you are ready for them to get in and out of the cot by themselves, by fitting the toddler rail to one side of the cot. Lastly, when they have transitioned to a big bed you can convert your Frank 4 in 1 Cot to a toddler day bed by removing the toddler side rail.
